Lost track of who you are?
We see many versions of ourselves.
We are different people at work, at home, and in relationships. This fracturing of our identities can be disorienting and make us feel disconnected from who we truly are.
Fractured Personality Psychology
While a relatively new discipline in psychology, personality fracturing is understood by a new generation of practitioners to represent the experience of feeling disconnected from each of the many versions of ourselves we find ourselves stepping in and out of in every day.
Who are you?
Practitioners of personality fracturing employ supervised depth work and body awareness modalities in order to unite our fractured versions of self. Most individuals see results within six weeks of regular sessions, and describe feelings of being more embodied and present in the current version of self.
Unite your fractured self
We can support you on your journey to bring your many selves together as one whole.
Our Story
Dr. Hanz “Hank” Schendel began his career in German politics, representing Berlin’s largest district in municipal affairs. While working with his local community, Hank discovered a crisis now known as personality fracturing.
In 2004 Hank retired from politics to pursue a PhD in Psychology at CUNY. His first book, Fractured Body, Fractured Mind, is forthcoming from Knopf.
A portion of the proceeds from Fractured Body, Fractured Mind will go toward supporting children entering the culinary arts, in memory of Hank’s father, Hanz Schendel, renowned cookbook author and beloved television personality, who inspired a generation of home cooks.
When Hank is not coaching and writing, he can be found writing and performing electronic music. Check out his Soundcloud at https://soundcloud.com/ppppldeye
